Pomona

During my two years in California with Audi I had the chance to discover the incredibly rich car culture that exists there, either every day on the street or at car-meets and organized events.

Pomona is just one such example I'd like to share with you. In 2008 I compiled a book which try's to capture the spirit and color of this fantastic event.

In the coming months I hope to be bringing you some more stories and pictures from my times in California.

@Steve: Back to the days. The early morning, the rising sun. Hitting highway 10 Eastbound, ready for another metal lunch at Pomona. Sniffing the car culture in California's kitchen. I am the lucky one to have been there, .....and to have this fantastic book at home. Nevertheless it is a pleasure to see it flipflopping here on the screen. In other words I dig the little Blurb plug in. Tis might be the start of a series of CFX books. Goodwood anyone?

I think I said this before in a different time and place but: Brilliant photography, beautifully laid out!
Forgot to order the book - still possible? Or can I perhaps simply put my name forward for the signed gift box with the whole series? Never hard to think of a birthday present with you guys around ;)

Pomona: never been there but still got the T-shirt (thanks to Matt!), must be an awesome place!

This reminds me: A CFX-trip to the USA must be planned, especially since we have such tourist-guides amongst ourselves as Steve & Matt!
